Head Coach Jake Phillips

Muay Thai and Boxing Coach

Jake is the head coach at Hardline Combat. Jakes journey started at Extreme Fighters when he was 21 years old. Jake spent a total of 7 years at Extreme Fighters, where he started as gym member and ended up coaching classes and competing. Jakes journey continued when he trained at the Lumpini Gym, Jake trained there for a brief period before moving counties. Jake continued to compete and had success, winning all his fights. Jake moved to Hampshire where he became the head Muay Thai Coach at Mercers Gym for 2 years. It was then time for Jake to start Hardline Combat in April 2024.

The new challenge began for Jake,  coaching his students under his brand, Hardline Combat. Jakes approach to martial arts is one of no egos. "There's always someone bigger and badder." So why have an ego. Jake ensures that Hardline Combat has an inviting environment mixed with hard work and technical skills. Jakes goal is to make Hardline Combat a place for all. Whether you're a beginner, fitness lover or a fighter, it's the place for you.
